Founder and Co-Director
With a robust academic background in Global Health, Vanessa's passion for empowering deaf communities in Uganda drives her towards meaningful and sustainable change. Rooted in a deep-seated desire to uplift communities, Vanessa envisions a future where empowerment is not just a goal but a lived reality.
Vanessa brings invaluable skills in strategic thinking and program management to her current role. As the founding director of our program, she is poised to lead with determination and vision, guiding our team towards the creation of services that truly benefit the communities we serve.
Isabella Mukasa
Co-Director
Isabella arrives with a rich background in creative arts and a heartfelt dedication to charity work in Uganda, making her a vital addition to our organisation's creative vision. With her diverse expertise, Isabella serves as a catalyst for innovation, introducing novel approaches to raising awareness and driving impact both locally and globally.

Finance Officer

Driven by a fervent desire to foster financial independence among the deaf population, Andrew's journey with us is defined by a commitment to inclusivity and sustainability.
In his current capacity within our C.B.O., Andrew plays a pivotal role in ensuring financial compliance and steering the organisation towards long-term sustainability. Beyond his professional responsibilities, Andrew embodies the spirit of advocacy and activism.

Martha is eager to support the deaf community. Her genuine passion and dedication are valuable to our organisation. Martha's contributions go beyond her artistic prowess; they reflect a deep-seated commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. Through her creative endeavours, she not only brings new and creative ideas but also fosters engaging methods of interacting and teaching the apprentices.
Martha's nursing background adds to our apprentices' social and healthcare development. This training through healthcare makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Lillian Nakulima
Sign Language Interpretor
Lillian Nakulima is the firstborn of both deaf parents and has known sign language as her first language.
Being born by them, Lillian has grown up to know their culture and loved them so much. That is why she promotes inclusivity, bridging the gap between the hearing community and the deaf community.
